| Description |
| Skyhawk Fantasy was conceived for the University of Tennessee, Martin Flute Choir and the institution’s nickname is the Skyhawks. The formal structure is based on binary code, using the word “sky”. Marked Vivace and dotted quarter note equals 72-80, the 0 sections are mostly polyphonic settings, with melodies and motives using fast note passages of eighth and sixteenth notes in compound duple meter. The 1 sections are build ups to extended tertian chords. |
